Wednesday was the first day of rehearsal intended to practise for the Nation’s Eve. We first had the choir rehearsal where we started a new song called “In this heart”; a beautiful melody. Afterwards, the corresponding national groups were given a particular time and place to practise a traditional song from their country. To assist and solve our problems, we were assigned a mentor as well, which was actually very helpful to synchronize the “sound of music”. In the evening, a local group of Jazz musicians was invited to the camp to share their experiences and enlighten us with their style of playing instruments. And since it was Aisha’s birthday, Tatjana prepared a cake to celebrate her entry into the world of adults. Later on, René arranged some foot taping music which turned into a freaky dance party. The evening even got better with the disco lights and the company of all our friends.
