July 21st Choir rehearsal and skill games
Drucken

Today was a fun day! In the morning we had choir rehearsal. Rehearsal is always fun but it is not very easy to sing at 9 in the morning. Rudi always makes it fun though. The vocal warm-ups are very silly and sometimes make me laugh. We started learning some new songs and practiced some of the songs we have started learning. In the afternoon we practiced for the Nations Eve concert. The music I have heard sounds very beautiful and well-rehearsed. Everyone was making corrections with their songs and making last minute changes and making sure everything sounded perfect. Brittany and I decided to switch parts in our song, A Thousand Miles. She will do the bridge and I will do the first verse. In the evening, we went into the gym and played these skill games. The games were very creative and exciting. The camp got into teams and competed against each other. One of the games was a game where one person tossed gummy bears and the other person had to catch them with their mouth. I really enjoyed the game where many water bottles were set up and you had to knock them all down with the ball tied on to your leg using without using your hands.
