After the Nations Eve performance we needed a relaxing day. Our camp staff allowed us to have breakfast later and so most of us enjoyed sleeping a bit more than usual. We had the chance to meet participants of the Slovenian “Catch the rainbow” camp and actually decided to meet them at the middle of a bridge which connects Austria and Slovenia by walking there; however, the rain ruined our plan and so a bus came and drove us to the Museumshof of Bad Radkersburg. Here, we welcomed the guys from the Slovenian camp to Austria by singing a very fancy version of “Whiskey in the jar”. We visited the exhibition of some photos taken by Gornja Radgona about the war which took place in Slovenia twenty years ago. It was a good way to think about this tragedy and not to forget that there are a lot of people that are still suffering because of the war. Later, we visited a famous vine cellar and tasted the typical sparkling wine they produced there. It was very interesting in particular for people who don’t come from European countries and aren’t used to drink wine. After we have said goodbye to our new friends, we enjoyed the local spa, but the weather wasn’t clement with us and so we got soaking wet on our way home. After dinner we had a choir rehearsal and we really enjoyed it because we sang “The lion sleeps tonight”.
