Today we spent most of the time touring through the wonderful city of Graz, the capital of Styria. First, we visited the famous castle called Schloss Eggenberg, where we had a guided tour inside. We heard many fascinating facts about Franz Josef and Maria Theresa’s home and their personal life. Then we walked through the park, which is also home for many peacocks, and had lunch in the “planet garden”. Afterwards, we set out to a well-known Clock Tower – the “Grazer Uhrturm” – where we experienced a gorgeous view of the whole city. Having visited some of the most important sights of the inner city, we were given the opportunity to explore and shop in the main square or visit the Modern Arts Museum. The time passed quickly and soon we had dinner in a restaurant called “Eschenlaube” where we enjoyed delicious food. Later on that night, we attended an acapella jazz competition called VokalTotal which took place in the “Dom im Berg”. Our favourite musical group was May Tree from Korea. This concert was the end of the day; we learned a lot about Austrian culture while getting closer to each other. It was an overall great trip…
