We had a choir rehearsal in the morning, and we were a bit nervous for the final concert. We were also sad, because we knew that it was our last day in the Camp, and It’s hard to promise that we’ll see each other again. We just wanted to make that day the best day of the whole 2 weeks. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. we had the sound check in the Concert room, it was exciting! Then a shower-of-the-power, something for dinner, and back to the Concert. Well, feelings about the final concert? It was simply great, everyone did a special and amazing performance, and everybody cried and laughed. We just didn’t want that moment to ever end. Than we had a funny party, at “home”, our Austrian home. In the Camp there was so much love, and peace, and music. Music makes peace. I understood that in these 2 weeks, the best weeks of my life. Now I’m on the plane, back to Italy, my country, and I remember when, few days ago, I had a conversation with my Turkish friend about religions. He said that, in his opinion, God is the best part of every person. Everyone is a little god, if they make something good for the humanity. Well, at the final concert we made god. While we sing together, we feel exactly the same emotions, even if we come from different countries. We have more things in common than we expected.. Music made me realize that. Thank you Music, thank you “Sound of music lions camp 2011”, thank you Rudi, Chris, Johannes, Caroline, Tatjana, Rene, Fritz, Hans. And thank you guys. I love you all, and I’ ll remember you for the rest of my life. “Until we meet again”:)
